Skillet Pork With Apple Cider Sauce
Ingredients:
| 4 thick UNKNOWN | boneless pork chops (about 1 ½ lbs./750 g) | 4 UNKNOWN |
| 1 cup | apple cider or juice | 250 mL |
| ¼ cup | FRENCH'S® Honey Mustard or Honey Dijon Mustard | 50 mL |
| 2 tbsp | finely minced red onion or shallots | 30 mL |
| 1 tbsp | dried bread crumbs | 15 mL |
| 1 tsp | brown sugar | 5 mL |
| 1/8 tsp | dried thyme leaves | .5 mL |
Directions:
HEAT 1 tbsp. (15 mL) oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook pork about 10 min. until lightly browned and no longer pink in center, turning once. Remove and set aside.
STIR in cider, mustard, shallots, bread crumbs, sugar and thyme. Simmer 2 min. until slightly thickened.
ADD chops to skillet. Heat through.
