Mustard Marinated Steaks

MARINATE TIME 15 - 30 min

Ingredients:

1/3 cup olive oil 75 mL
1/4 cup cider or wine vinegar 50 mL
1/4 cup FRENCH's® Classic Yellow® Mustard 50 mL
1/4 cup chopped green onion 50 mL
2 clove garlic, minced 2 clove
Freshly ground pepper to taste
4 beef steaks, 1" (2.5 cm) thick 4

Directions:

1. COMBINE oil, vinegar, mustard, onion, garlic and pepper.

2. PLACE steaks in a plastic bag and set in a shallow pan. Add marinade; mix thoroughly. Let stand at room temperature 15 to 30 minutes, turning bag once.

3. REMOVE steaks from marinade. Grill or broil on medium heat to desired doneness, turning once. (13 to 16 minutes for medium rare; 17 to 20 minutes for medium doneness.)

Tips:

Striploin, rib, tenderloin, rib eye and sirloin steaks all will be delicious.
