Grilled Ham & Cheese Sandwiches
Ingredients:
| 8 tbsp | FRENCH'S® Dijon Mustard, divided | 120 mL |
| 8 | slices Italian bread, cut 1/2 " (1/2 cm) thick | 8 |
| 8 oz | thinly sliced deli ham | 250 g |
| 8 oz | sliced Swiss or Fontina cheese | 250 g |
| 1 | tomato, thinly sliced | 1 |
| 2 - 4 tbsp | butter | 30 - 60 mL |
Directions:
SPREAD 1 tbsp (15 mL) mustard on each slice of bread.
ARRANGE ham, cheese and tomato on 4 slices bread, dividing evenly. Cover each with second slice of bread, mustard side down.
MELT butter in large nonstick skillet. Cook sandwiches until golden brown and cheese melts, turning once. Cut in half to serve.
Tips:
Sandwiches may be cooked in panini or sandwich grill.
Fry sandwiches in two batches using half the butter for each batch.
