French's® Crunchy Onion Meatloaf
Ingredients:
| 2 | cans FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions (79 g each) | 2 |
| 2 lb | ground beef | 1 kg |
| 1 1/3 cup | pasta sauce, divided | 325 mL |
| 1/3 cup | Worchestershire sauce | 75 mL |
| 2 | eggs | 2 |
| 1/2 tsp | salt | 2 mL |
| 1/4 tsp | ground black pepper | 1 mL |
Directions:
CRUSH 2 cups (500 mL) French Fried Onions in plastic bag. Place in bowl; mix in meat, 1/3 cup (75 mL) pasta sauce, Worchestershire, eggs, salt and pepper. Shape into loaf in greased baking dish.
BAKE 1 hour at 350° F (180° C) until meatloaf is no longer pink in center (160°F/70° C internal temperature). Drain fat.
SPOON remaining sauce over meatloaf and top with remaining onions. Bake 5 minutes longer until onions are golden.
