Crunchy Onion Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients:
| 2 lb | beef stew meat, cut into 1 1/2 inch (3.5 cm) cubes | 1 kg |
| 2 | (10 oz/284 mL each) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup | 2 |
| 2 cup | sliced fresh mushrooms | 500 mL |
| 2 cup | FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions, divided (1 1/2 (79g each) cans) | 500 mL |
| 2 tbsp | Worchestershire sauce | 30 mL |
| 1/2 cup | water | 125 mL |
| 1 cup | sour cream (optional) | 250 mL |
Directions:
COMBINE meat, soup, mushrooms, 1 cup (250 mL) French Fried Onions, Worchestershire and water in slow cooker.
COVER; cook on low setting for 8 hours ( or 4 hours on HIGH).
STIR in sour cream, if desired. Serve over curly noodles and sprinkle with remaining onions.
Tips:
This is also great with pork shoulder cubes.
