Crunchy Onion Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:

2 lb beef stew meat, cut into 1 1/2 inch (3.5 cm) cubes 1 kg
2 (10 oz/284 mL each) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup 2
2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms 500 mL
2 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions, divided (1 1/2 (79g each) cans) 500 mL
2 tbsp Worchestershire sauce 30 mL
1/2 cup water 125 mL
1 cup sour cream (optional) 250 mL

Directions:

COMBINE meat, soup, mushrooms, 1 cup (250 mL) French Fried Onions, Worchestershire and water in slow cooker.

COVER; cook on low setting for 8 hours ( or 4 hours on HIGH).

STIR in sour cream, if desired. Serve over curly noodles and sprinkle with remaining onions.

Tips:

This is also great with pork shoulder cubes.
