Crunchy Onion Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
| 3 cup | prepared hot mashed potatoes | 750 mL |
| 1 cup | sour cream | 250 mL |
| 1/4 cup | milk | 50 mL |
| 1/4 tsp | garlic powder | 1 mL |
| 1 1/3 cup | FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions, divided (1 (79 g) can) | 325 mL |
| 1 cup | shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided | 250 mL |
Directions:
MIX mashed potatoes, sour cream, milk and garlic powder.
SPOON half the mixture into 2-qt (2 L) casserole. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup (150 mL) French Friend Onions and 1/2 cup (125 mL) cheese. Top with remaining potato mixture.
BAKE at 350° F (180° C) for 30 minutes or until hot. Top with remaining onions and cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer or until onions are golden.
Tips:
Prepare instant mashed potatoes for 6 servings.
