Crunchy Coated Lamb Chops
Ingredients:
| 8 | loin lamb chops | 8 |
| 1/4 cup | FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard | 60 mL |
| 3/4 cup | Panko (coarse dry bread crumbs) | 175 mL |
| 1 tbsp | finely chopped fresh parsley | 15 mL |
| 1 tbsp | finely chopped fresh oregano | 15 mL |
| 3 tbsp | melted butter | 45 mL |
| Salt & pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. SPREAD mustard generously on top side of chops using about 1 1/2 tsp (7 mL) per chop.
2. COMBINE remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over mustard, pressing in lightly. Place on baking sheet.
3. BAKE at 425º F (220º C) for 10 to 15 minutes or to desired doneness.Time will depend on thickness of chops.
Tips:
Replace lamb with 4 pork chops or boneless skinless chicken breasts.
Panko bread crumbs are available in most supermarkets where the Oriental foods are.
Broil 30 to 60 seconds after cooking to brown crumbs if desired.
